Burnt Oak Tree

The tallest tree in the forest. Once a raging fire tore through the territory, the oak survived, although the lush greenery was gone, and the bark gone black. After moons, the oak regrew to it's former glory. Lots of rodents like to eat the acorns the tree drops.

Blackpaw: She follows her instructions, she then hides in a bush waiting for a mouse to come out of a mouse hole she saw nearby.

Duskmoon: I let Blackpaw hunt, and find a spot for myself. I sniff the air, picking up a fresh scent of vole. Automatically settling into a hunters crouch, I follow the scent, and see the vole. I want for it to lower it's guard as it nibbling on a nut.

Blackpaw: I see it come out, I wait for the right moment then pounce, I miss by a heartbeat, but suddenly another runs out I snap it up in my jaws and let out a low purr, I sniff the air and quickly bury the prey then go for more.

Duskmoon: I spring onto the vole, batting it with a paw, claws outstretched. I kill the vole before it can make any noise, and I look around. I quickly get another vole and a squirrel. Not a bad catch, I must say. I bury my prey and look for Blackpaw.

Blackpaw: Starts sneaking up on a rabbit.

Duskmoon: I catch her scent, and see her stalking a rabbit. I crouch down and wait for her to kill it.

Blackpaw: Get's too close it see's me, it starts running into a rabbit hole, i follow it in, I get it but I hear a low growl.

Duskmoon: I suddenly pick out a dangerous scent. Fluffing up, I realize the hole Blackpaw went into had a badger in it! Quickly, I got to my paws and dove after her, trying to pull her out as soon as I see her.

Blackpaw: I smell Duskmoon coming and start backing up to get to her, away from the badger, I bump into her and hear more growls, with the rabbit in my jaws I wait for Duskmoon to help.

Duskmoon: "Run!" I growl to her, stepping in front of the badger, blocking Blackpaw from it's reach. "Tell Aspenstar a badger's moved into our territory, and that I'll give a full report if I get back. Now RUN!" I yowl. unsheathing my claws and whipping my tail back and forth.

Blackpaw: She let out a low mournful cry and dashed away to tell the leader, she hoped with all her heart that Duskmoon would be okay.

Blackpaw: I run as fast as my leg's could take me, we arrive at the Burnt Oak Tree, I point with my tail to the den and stand a little bit away from the entrance.

Duskmoon: My legs are tiring, as I dart out of the way of the badgers giant claws. Although I am agile, I cannot keep this up forever, I think. I cry out as I keep a claw bury itself in my side. I see warriors, led by Aspenstar, run into the den. I stand, my chest heaving, as the badger turns to the four new cats attacking it. I make my way to the exit, trying my hardest not to collapse.

Blackpaw: I see her coming out and dash to her side, I let her lean on me using all my strength to help. "W-Where do you want to go? I can help you to camp if you want... Or are you not strong enough right now?" You sense I'm slightly panicked.

Duskmoon: "I n-need to g-g-get to F-Fernga-aze." I say stutteringly. My legs shake, as I lean on the apprentice. I feel the blood drip down my side, as I try to hurry back to camp.
Aspenstar: I scratch the badgers eyes, yowling in anger. The badger roared in pain. It made for the exit. "Make sure it gets out of our territory!" I shout to my warriors, then run to Blackpaw and Duskmoon. "Help me sling her onto our backs." I say, already starting to lift her onto my back.

Blackpaw: Helps lift her up and stands as tall as she can determination making her keep going.

Aspenstar: I walk as fast as I can without leaving the apprentice behind. (move to Stormclan camp)

Blackpaw: I go with her to the place I buried my prey and sniff around, I eventually find where Duskmoon buried hers. I pick them up and put them in one hole, I kick dirt on it and go out to hunt more.

Blossomshine: I stalk prey, and catch a few mice.

Blackpaw: Only manages to get one vole.

Blossomshine: "Let's head back, you can rest, then we can do dusk patrol."

I THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME THING XD ))

Blackpaw: "Arit." I say with a mouth stuffed with Duskmoon's and my own prey.

Blossomshine: I pick up my own prey, then turn around to see a pair of eyes watching us from the bushes. I drop the prey, so I could better pick up their scent. It was a she-cat, with no clan or kittypet scent.
Vixen: I step out of the bushes, and wave my tail. I keep my ears neutral. "You clan cat?"

Blackpaw: Drop's prey in fright, takes a step towards Blossomshine but stays calm, I pick up my prey again and avoid eye contact.

Vixen: I blink at the cats and give another wave of my tail. They stare at me. "I seek shelter, you clan cat?" I ask again, taking a step forwards.
Blossomshine: I look at the rogue warily. "We'll take you to our camp. Aspenstar will decide your fate." I pick up my prey and turn around, checking that the rogue was following.

Blackpaw: Glances at the rogue, sighs and looks ahead.

Shrieking, yowls of protest, blood, blood everywhere, howling, a sudden coldness I knew they were gone, a searing pain, black-out.

The memory fuzzy and painful, I try to forget the rogue is there, I feel my legs carry me faster and suddenly I'm in front of Blossomshine and stiff, I keep walking making sure to stay in front.

Blossomshine: I look at Blackpaw. "You need to be guarding behind her." I say, glancing behind to check the she-cat was still there. "We must make sure she doesn't get out of our sight."

Blackpaw: I did not mind that much, after all she knew she was fine, This she-cat only brought the memory back, her parents were not killed by rogues anyway. She hang back and guarded her from behind making sure she would not escape my sight.
